Must-Read Books for College Grads

A dozen choice reading selections for the class of 2006

By Cholntz E. McGee

After cramming a week's worth of studying into your last three days of exams ever, the last thing you want to do is read another book. But we're not asking you to pick up your $169, 31-pound bio-chem textbook. (Besides, we're pretty sure you swapped it on Craigslist for a concert ticket.) Instead, we offer some tasty textual morsels to nibble on over the summer -- on the beach, on the road, on the job hunt or even on the can.

Wherever you choose to read them, these books are sure to provide some insight into life after college. Or, at the very least, they'll serve as lovely coffee table décor to spin the illusion that you've got things under control.
