About Brendan O'Connell and Frank Prendergast
Brendan dropped out of school without any qualifications, murmuring something about becoming a writer. However, before rising to "stardom" as a single-panel-cartoon-gag writer, Brendan held down a string of jobs in which he performed menial tasks for minimum wage. Brendan attributes his success to the realisation that the world does indeed owe him a living.
